The Wanderers side was missing Moore in midfield for the starting line-up having played for the Reserves on the Tuesday night, but would play some part in the match during the second half. While Dunne who had played a part in the Reserves match was fit enough to start. Wanderers did not start the match to well conceding two early goals against a very strong and fit Woodbridge side, who continued to have the better of the play and went in at half time leading 3-goals up. Half-Time: 0-3
The second half was a different story as Wanderers came out with more determination and passion for the first 25min pulling one goal back through Lewis Driver. Wanderers, with this renewed confidence, missed some good chances to get themselves back into the game and as a result conceded 2-late goals to make the final score a little flattering for the Woodbridge.
Padmore and Lait in their first appearances for Wanderers gave a good perfomance but lacked match fitness.
