The Youth team kicked-off its first season in the Ridgeons Youth league. They were taught a lesson in how to finish in front of goal and not to concede possesion too cheaply against a physical side who certainly were more determined, and deservedly so, as they played more like a team. It was plain to see that only one team was going to take the 3-points.
Lewis Driver, who came on in the second half, did give hope in scoring his first goal for the club to make it 1-2 and looks a good striker along with Richard who had an exceptional game and was unfortunate not to get a penalty when he was brought down in the box.
Lets hope the away fixture to Diss will see a vast improvement.
